OCT 20: Michigan Cavalry Reunites

This week in 1869, members of the Michigan Cavalry Brigade hold their first reunion since the end of the Civil War in Detroit. One year later, the second reunion, held in Grand Rapids, renames the unit to “Custer’s Michigan Cavalry Brigade.”
