DEC 26: NY Times Plugs Libbie’s New Book

On Dec. 26, 1887, The New York Times announces: “Charles L. Webster & Co. have nearly ready (sic) Mrs. Custer’s new work, which is entitled ‘Tenting on the Plains.’” It is Libbie Custer’s second book after the success of “Boots and Saddles,” published by Webster in 1885.
